Celebrating Success in Sport
U15 Basketball
NACIS U15 boys basketball came out unbeaten and victorious in their first basketball tournament of the year held at YKPao, Songjiang.

The boys were unbeaten throughout the round-robin format beating YKPao 18-10, followed by a comfortable victory over Shanghai High School International Division 16-6, with their final game coming against Shanghai United International School Gubei again winning 16-10.

The final saw our NACIS team play against YKPao in a tense championship game. The team showed excellent composure, resilience and determination to win 19-16, sealing an unbeaten first tournament.

Mr Patrick was extremely proud of his whole squad, each and every member of the team played their part in a competitive tournament and he looks forward to seeing the team progress over the next year.

Team captain Jerry Long was named tournament MVP with a high-quality performance throughout the tournament showing excellent quality in defence whilst being composed and creative in attack.

Well done to all involved, a special thanks to all the parents that travelled and supported the team.

U13 Basketball
NACIS U13 boys travelled to Shanghai High School International Division for their opening tournament of the season.

Whilst the boys started off slowly in their first game with a loss, things gradually picked up over the morning winning the next 3 games consecutively and claiming a third place finish.

Mr Andrew felt that it was a great experience and learning curve for the students which included a 12 point deficit comeback during the final game. He looks forward to seeing the students mastering their fundamental skills over the season and looks forward to their development over the course of the season.
