Our Students' Excellent Performances at Urban Family Kid's Halloween Event

30 October 2018

  • 20181102enew08

NACIS students told Halloween stories in front of an audience of about 200 people at the Urban Family Kid's Halloween event at Arch Walk Mall. Our NACIS orchestra members (Qianyi Shen, Yao Yao Lin, Yolanda  Zhu, Asher Zhu, Michael Zhao, Angela Liu, Young Yang, Thomas Li, Eva Shen, Tracy Ma, and Diana Zhang) bravely performed ‘Batman’ being the superheroes of the event. Spooky Ghost cats, haunted houses and scary skeletons, Chelsea Zhou, Harry Zhang, Lynn Yang and Ethan Xu - all from Grade 6 - used their learning from the Drama classroom to tell 3 stories which enthralled, and sometimes scared, a captive audience. They all worked incredibly hard in the weeks leading up to the event and performed with confidence and expression. It was a pleasant event supported by our Performing Arts ECA’s parents who were there to support them. We all look forward to what these talented students can continually bring to our Performing Arts Program at NACIS.
