NACIS Robotic Team Members Invited for the 2019 FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship!

The annual FIRST® Championship, aka the Super Bowl of STEM, is the annual gathering of top future innovators, technology leaders, and changemakers for the ultimate celebration. This year, the final nail-biting rounds of the  FIRST® Tech Challenge showdowns start on Sunday afternoon, April 14 in Huston. Over 70,000 students in grades K-12, 160 teams from 42 countries, and 1300 custom-built robots will be competing in timed matches and making adjustments on-the-fly in racecar-like pits.

We are excited to announce that Minxuan Ma, Matthew Liu, Action Yan, Daniel Li and Johnson Liu, 5 top players of Mr. Robot team from Nord Anglia Chinese International School Shanghai have been invited to attend the 2019 FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship.

Mr. Robot is the first robotic club at NACIS. It was founded in 2017. With the support from the school leaders, the teachers at NACIS ECA and steam department, the parents and the Ivy Maker coaches, the team members worked very hard and have achieved a steep learning curve.
