On Friday April 24, 2020, all secondary teachers in Shanghai have returned to school. Our teachers and admin staff underwent training for health and safety and the regulations it is important we follow. On April 21, we passed a strict inspection and abstained the official approval to resume classes.

On the morning of the first school day, our principal and teachers greeted the students at the school gate as usual and ensured that every student followed the strict safety procedures when entering the school.

The form tutor of each class also led the students to watch the epidemic prevention video in the first class, which consolidated the important security precautions again. In order to have an orderly lunch at noon, each class carried out field drills with teachers in advance to ensure a safe and standardized meal order. At the end of the school day, students went to the designated area to wait for their parents under the guidance of the teachers, which strictly abide by the related requirements of the spring opening guide for the primary and secondary in Shanghai.

With the return of the grade 9 students, we are delighted to see that our work and life are gradually back to the normal track.  It is a really positive sign for all, and we of course hope this goes smoothly.
