Meet the Superintendent

Chris

We have had a lovely week at NACIS in the warmer and sunny weather. I have really enjoyed being in lessons and seeing our students loving their learning. The ECA programme has started well. It was lovely to welcome parents to the school for our Secondary parents workshop on Friday.

Offer Updates

Jack is delighted to have received two offers last week, both to study Business Management.  The first is from Babson College and the second Connecticut College, which is recognized as one of the world’s leading entrepreneurial universities.  Jack is very excited and continues to closely assess his options before committing.

Students’ Awards

The Lower Primary Awards last week were around Enquiry. I had lunch with the 4 winners below (William – 2 Willow, Kiki, 2 Cypress, Sunny – 1 Sycamore and Susan – 1 Yew) and we had a wide ranging conversation about what they liked about NACIS. I asked them what change they would make if they had my job and they were very happy with what I am doing!

Secondary held their interhouse debate this week. Congratulations to Fortitude, captained by Rachel, for winning. We were very excited that three of our students won a China wide competition in the China Thinks Big competition. Well done to Saraand Kayla’s team for winning the top prizes in Grade 11 and 10 respectively and Alice’s team for second place in Grade 11.

I hope you have a great week.

Chris
