Ms. Isabel Xu joins NACIS from Yew Chung International School (YCIS) of Shanghai PUXI where she has played vital leadership roles from CAL Group Leader, Co-Principal (Secondary) and Co-Principal (ECE-Secondary). She has received award of "Chinese Master Teacher" of YCEF (Yew Chung Education Foundation) during YCIS tenure.
Ms. Xu holds bachelor’s degrees in Chinese Language and Literature and Law from East China Normal University and East China University of Political Science and Law respectively. Prior to joining YCIS, she worked in key public schools in the UK and Shanghai. With her successful teaching experience in IB, she has also been certified as an IB global examiner.
Ms. Xu is a compassionate educational leader with proven ability to foster a safe, purposeful, accountable and caring learning environment, and her capacity to develop constructive and respectful relationships with staff, students, parents and other stakeholders in the through-train school setting. She is well recognized by her peers, leaders and community as an experienced bilingual educator for both local education system and international curriculum. She has massive experience in leading, managing and monitoring the school improvement and planning process and its implications for enhancing high quality teaching, learning and operations across the school.
