The school makes health and safety a top priority each day making sure that the premises is a clean and hazard free facility, promoting a healthy and happy environment for our school community to thrive.
Staff are well trained in first aid and supported by a highly qualified health professional to oversee the physical well-being of our students and staff. A school nurse is at school all day during school time. Medical facilities are of the highest standard and equipped to ensure that all emergency and day to day medical needs are dealt with efficiently. Parents are kept informed of all medical policies and procedures and medical information is requested, recorded and shared where appropriate for student well-being. As well as physical well-being, any psychological or emotional needs are supported to ensure that our student community are happy and balanced individuals who contribute to school life as a whole.
Students learn about healthy lifestyles and the benefits of keeping fit in both body and mind contributing to their knowledge of how lifestyle choices can influence their achievement in and enjoyment of learning. Healthy menu options at the school cafeteria further illustrate this and encourage students to make the right decisions concerning taking responsibility for their own health and well-being.
