She has performed at Carnegie Hall as a flutist and has had several concerts with major orchestras including the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra in Russia. Hae Won has taught music internationally for 7 years and worked in a bilingual school for the last 2 years in Beijing. Her greatest ambition is to create an orchestra for children combining Western and Chinese instruments at NACIS.
Currently, Hae Won is a Doctoral candidate at the University of Washington where she is completing a Post Baccalaureate K-12 Teaching Certificate, Flute Performance and Advanced Conducting courses. As a music teacher, she has taught IGCSE, Orchestra, Band, and IB programs.
Hae Won loves being a teacher who can inspire children about the wonderful world of music.
