Pre - IBDP (Grade 10) and IBDP (Grades 11 and 12) students are encouraged to be independent learners and are therefore managed by a team of IBDP teachers led by the Head of IB. The Head of Pastoral and the Higher Education Advisor also work closely with these students to support in their overall well-being and preparation for making university choices and applications.
As students head toward the end of their time at school, it’s our focus to leave them with the necessary foundations to excel at university and later in life. There is no better preparation for higher education than the broad Chinese curriculum and extensive IB program available here at Nord Anglia Chinese International School, Shanghai. At the final and most crucial stage of their learning, students in their final four years at school will have the option of studying a broad range of subjects.
We offer examinations in core subjects such as mathematics, science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Health Science), English, Chinese and humanities(Business Management and Economics), with other optional subjects available (Visual Arts and Music), and you won’t find a finer IB school in Shanghai.
We understand students learn differently, and we take pride in personalising our learning environment so that every child can go above and beyond whatever they previously thought possible.
*The subjects and levels offered each year are based on the identified needs of each year group.
