Now, Stephanie Morand is an expat teacher working at Regents International School Pattaya in Thailand. Being a French Teacher and Exchange Coordinator at Regents, she is glad that through Regents’ Exchange Programme the same opportunity can be offered to others.
Last academic year, we welcomed Kamy (Year 10) from Canada, Jesse (Year 12) from South Africa, Elise (Year 10) from Australia and Caroline (Year 10) from Canada to our boarding school for varying lengths of time. Our pastoral and boarding team work tirelessly to make each student be part of our community the moment they arrive – so much so, in fact, that we are never surprised to see students decide to stay on and become regular boarding students. Our exchange students feel immediately at home, and we’re proud to say that Regents International School Pattaya’s boarding houses received a whopping 20 million THB investment and now boast excellent boarding facilities ready to accommodate our guests.
The following words are from Caroline He, who joined us from Appleby College, Oakville in Southern Ontario, Canada, in March of this year. “If you decide to go on an exchange trip to Regents, you definitely do not have to worry about how to fit into the new environment. Every student and teacher at Regents is helpful and welcoming to new people. I immediately made new friends who introduced me to lots of school activities and encouraged me to join them. I will never forget the joyful time I spent with all the lovely people at Regents. This is a rich experience and a precious memory in my life. Thank you for having me.”
