My-Leen Formento

Music Teacher

My-Leen majored in Music Education with Voice Concentration. She holds a Diploma in Creative Performing Musical Arts from the University of the Philippines College of Music, a Distinction certificate in Singing and a Merit certificate in Piano from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Her vocal prowess was honed by award-winning classical singers and widely-acclaimed Broadway musical director Michael Lavine.

Soon after joining the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers, she represented the Philippines twice in Le Choeur Mondial des Jeunes (UNESCO Artists for Peace), performing in Israel and all over Europe. Later on, My-Leen represented the continent of Asia in Singers of United Lands in the USA and Africa. She has been teaching for over 15 years now after working with an international theatre company.

A choral clinician, classical crossover artist, arranger, keyboardist, My-Leen is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience in Performing Arts. Her favourite things include berries, baking, and bonding with her husband and their son Christoph.
