Preparing for the future

We believe education should open doors for your child. During senior years university admissions and career choices begin to become important concerns for families, which is why we provide expert advice, inside and outside of the classroom, to help students get to where they want to be in life.

  • preparing future

We provide opportunities for your child to develop life skills, important for their time at university and in the rest of their life, across the whole of their time at our school.

Our senior school students can choose from a whole array of different activities and projects, to help them develop skills in leadership, community awareness, internationalism, debating, and much more.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a very popular activity amongst students in the UK, and similarly with our students. We are an accredited school offering the International Duke of Edinburgh Award, which as well as giving students an insight into outdoor pursuits through regular expeditions, also helps them to learn skills like planning and team work and starts to encourage an interest in volunteering and positive social action.

Model United Nations is another popular activity in our senior school, particularly with our IB Diploma students. As well as letting students get to grips with some of the world's most pressing issues, it also helps them to hone practical skills like debate technique, researching and teamwork.

Univeristy admissions and career guidance

From early on in their time in our senior school, your child will receive career and university admission guidance from our dedicated member of staff, Ms Beth Wilburn. Beginning regular meetings during the IGCSE years, your child will begin to identify where their strengths and interests combine as they start to plan for the future.

EISP has an excellent track record of enabling students to get to some of the world's best universities - across Nord Anglia Education one in five students go on to one of the world's top 30 universities. Here at EISP our students have recently gone on to universities in the UK, US, Europe and the rest of the world, including Cambridge University, Charles University Prague, King's College London and many more.
