Martin Brown

Martin Brown

Head of Mathematics

Martin is from Torquay in South West England. He studied Mathematics at the University of Bath and continued at Bath to do a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics after completing a year as a sabbatical officer for the Students’ Union.

Martin taught at the Thomas Telford School in Shropshire for 6 years before moving on to teach and lead Mathematics in Houston and at another Nord Anglia school in Shanghai, China.

Whilst Martin excels as a Mathematics geek, he is also a keen photographer having completed a Diploma in Digital Photography in Vancouver, Canada in 2008. In his free time he is either travelling, involved with a photo project, reading current affairs, spending quality time using Instagram or walking his dog, rescued in 2013 from Shanghai.
