Samantha Pešová

Head of English Department (Senior)

Originally from Cardiff, Sam gained her BA (Hons) and PGCE in English and Outdoor Education from the University of Leeds and has a MA in Linguistics.

She has taught in the UK, Australia and the Czech Republic and has 10 years experience working as an IB English teacher. Sam has also worked for many years as an IB examiner and is a Principal Examiner for English A at the school. She has a great love of travel and the outdoors and has climbed, trekked and cycled in many remote corners of the world. Her biggest challenge at the moment, however, is juggling her teaching with looking after her two young daughters.
