Sports are an integral part of life at our school

We encourage participation and performance in Physical Education and sport because we believe it leads to healthier young people who are better equipped to achieve in all subjects; healthy minds in healthy bodies.

We develop key values and skills which are paramount for success in today’s world. We also strive for our pupils to excel in Physical Education and sport creating a wealth of opportunities to represent house and school teams. Aside from competing with other Prague international schools, we also participate at Nord Anglia European Schools tournaments where we have earned ourselves an impressive set of success stories over the past years.

As a high performance school, it is important to put our best foot forward and be represented as widely as we can in the sporting arena. Our programme is deliberately broad so as to offer something to everyone, and we are proud to boast increasingly strong teams in a wide range of sports at all ages.

Sports and games our students experience at our school include football, netball, badminton, athletics, gymnastics, dance, swimming, volleyball, cricket, basketball, floorball and more. Students study both practical and theoretical aspects of physical education in KS4 leading to examination level.

Our process begins as our younger students take part in simple games to build individual and team skills, having experienced a wide range of games work previously. This sound footing is advanced at a pace each year through the primary school after which sports become more recognisable and the values of sport and sportsmanship, which we rate very highly, are cemented. The extra curricular programme and team training at our school complement the work done in the classroom. Whatever the student’s level, we ensure opportunities are always available for all to get involved.
