Once again our students, parents and staff have taken up the challenge of our Photography Competition. They have proven once again how limitless their talents are.

Since much of our 2020 experience has been spent indoors, this year’s theme of 'The Great Outdoors' was chosen to celebrate times where we were able to get out and appreciate the wonders the world has to offer.

It was a challenging task to choose winners from one hundred and thirty different entries. The first task was to divide the entries into categories and then to shortlist the best for each category. Then, these were sent to a panel of judges that included Mr Haren (Head of Computing and Media), Mr Lee (Media Teacher), Mr Rowan (Rosinka Upper Primary Phase Leader) and Ms Spence (Year 2 Teacher and IC Coordinator). Media teacher Mr Lee was impressed with the level of technical skill and thoughtful approaches shown in the entries.

The range of topics varied widely, encompassing nature as well as activities that remind us of time well spent with family and friends. There were also entries that remind us to stop and take time to view the world from different perspectives.

The competition proved very popular across our whole school community from teachers, staff, students and parents on both our Krylatskoye and Rosinka campuses. It shows us that even in the difficult times we live in, we can take time to refocus our lives and zoom in on those things that matter most.

Competition winners will be notified and will receive prizes and house points. Thank you to everyone who took part for taking the time to share your wonderful creations with us.
