I love teaching music because I believe a healthy relationship with music can improve one's life hugely. There are lessons to be learnt in the works of great composers that will be lost if we do not get children involved with music. Even if we disregard the holistic benefits of musical study, learning an instrument is, in itself, a very beneficial thing for a child to do. It teaches self-motivation, critical problem-solving abilities and a healthy relationship with oneself and one’s abilities.
I am hugely looking forward to working at ISM. I can't wait to explore a country which is so different to the one I have lived in my whole life.
Outside of music my interests are Napoleonic history and test cricket.
