A musician from the age of six, I love to play, conduct and compose music. As a music teacher I actively work to inspire happy, autonomous music-making. Once students begin to inspire each other, the effect multiplies: like popcorn!
Like many international school students, I am a 3rd Culture Kid. Born in Australia to a Czech mother and an Italian father. I have worked in Sydney (Australia), Dubai (UAE) and Doha (Qatar) with my current home on the Isle of Anglesey, United Kingdom, with my wife Katrina.
My major passions are all language-related and include: composing music, computing and spoken languages. Sports-wise I like anything fast including: Ice skating, snowboarding, inline skating, surfing and windsurfing.
I find that working internationally is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy and understand new cultures through language, food and music, as well as to further develop my own world view as a Global Citizen.
I look forward to inspiring, nurturing and mentoring the next generation of young musicians at The International School of Moscow.
