Teaching Music since 2004, from Early Years to A-Level, I love to educate the youngest children to the oldest children alike. In my classroom, I encourage purposeful play. Music provides students with the tools and skills to become collaborative and confident communicators, to foster an understanding of other times, places, cultures and contexts.
I am fortunate to be a violinist. This has given me a multitude of opportunities to perform for local communities wherever I have lived. My musical life has taken me to castles, opera houses, cathedrals, roof tops, building openings, weddings and private functions, to name a few. However, my favourite is to support and play for local communities in productions, concerts and any event that helps promote a cultural activity. I love sewing, creative arts, baking, the great outdoors, sailing, windsurfing and skiing.
It is with great pride I take up the baton and begin a new teaching year at The International School of Moscow.
