My teaching philosophy is 'everyone can achieve'. We all have potential It is the role of a teacher to foster enthusiasm, in order for students to explore how far they can go academically and emotionally. This takes on great importance in our Sixth Form, where we focus on A Levels and university applications, but also preparing our students for work and life in general.
Outside of the classroom I have a keen interest in sport, especially football and Gaelic Games. I am also a keen fan of my hometown Derry City Football Club and spend most of my free time trying to pass this curse onto my two young children. I love coming to work at ISM every day as the enthusiasm of our students makes me want to be a better teacher.
