As a teacher for many years, I believe that teachers should be both guides and mentors to enable students to learn at their own level through active learning. It is important to me that students understand their own learning and are able to practice newfound skills in a safe environment. Most of all, I believe that learning and having fun are intrinsically linked.

I love to travel around the world experiencing new places, new cultures and new food. Teaching in International Schools is fantastic because it's an opportunity to meet other teachers and share excellent teaching practices and styles. I love seeing the "eureka" moment in students when they understand a new concept and I love having the opportunity to work with young people from around the world.
