English Teacher, Head of Year 8

BA (Single Hons) English from Queens University Belfast;

Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Queen's University Belfast;

Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate (TEFL) from the International Open Academy

As a teacher of English, I truly believe that each of us have our own story to tell. I feel as though I can learn just as much from my students as they can from me. My aim is to make my pupils feel confident and comfortable in my classroom, always celebrating their achievements, as well as challenging themselves to do even better, with my support.

I am extremely excited to begin my career at ISM and embrace my role as a new teacher in such a wonderfully diverse environment. I am also looking forward to immersing myself in Russian culture and meeting lots of new people.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading and writing, music and playing guitar with my sister when back home in Ireland. I make miniature dolls' houses when I have some spare time and absolutely love Harry Potter! I am looking forward to this new adventure and hope to see you all in my classroom in the near future.
