I believe that a classroom should be fun, vibrant and engaging for all students. However, a class room should also be a place where children can take that positive energy and apply it to their education and real-life situations. My favourite part about teaching is witnessing the gradual development of the children throughout the year, both academically and as human beings.
Having studied and lived in three different countries (Russia, United Kingdom and South Korea), I always find it interesting to compare and contrast the differences in education in different countries. I did my student exchange in South Korea and what I found most interesting was that despite it being such a technologically-advanced country, all my classes were very text book-heavy, with lots of class tests.
Outside of school, my main passions revolve around travelling. I love visiting new countries, exploring different cultures and, most importantly, trying all sorts of new food! Apart from travelling, I enjoy socialising with my friends and following my football team, CSKA Moscow, home and away.
