Staff Profile: Liz Peacock

Liz Peacock

Assistant Head (EYFS)

Liz has worked in teaching for over ten years where she has concentrated on developing her expertise and passion for early years education. She began by studying for a BA (Hons) Degree in History at the University of Birmingham. Following this she went onto complete a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) specialising in Early Years, at Homerton College, University of Cambridge.

Liz began her career working in England, and her main area of experience has been teaching and leadership within the Early Years Foundation Stage. Liz took the opportunity to develop her experience by joining the Early Years Cubs team at BISS Puxi in 2012, and is currently working as our Reception Year Group Leader.

She moved to Shanghai with her partner and young daughter. As a family they have loved experiencing all the new opportunities that living and working in China within an exciting, international community brings. They enjoy seeing their daughter playing and learning with children from around the world. It has inspired them to travel more and challenges them to undertake new journeys.

“You are kind everyday!” Ella, Jun Woo and Renata
