The second half of the First Term has gone really fast and all Nursery children have been busy learning about nature and living things around us. We have had many visitors in our class from frogs to crickets, worms, terrapins and a snail habitat. It has been a term of discovery learning. The snail habitats in both classes are now awaiting the hatching of the many eggs that have been laid. Children have spent time observing, feeding and looking after these Mini Beasts this term. We all developed a sense of caring for the little creatures that live around us. In the meantime our vegetable garden is doing well and with the introduction of a compost bin children have developed an interest in recycling.
On to Christmas, the children did really well at our Christmas Concert and are still excited. They are constantly singing and are in the full spirit of Christmas. With Father Christmas rounding off our week on Friday, we are all eagerly awaiting the festive season. Both Nursery classes wish all parents a joyful Christmas.
