  • Junior ACSIS Cross Country Finals

On Thursday 3rd November, 40 students from years 3-6 represented DCIS at the ACSIS Cross Country Finals, held at Bedock Reservoir.
With competition high and over 500 pupils participating representing 15 schools, DCIS students produced some excellent runs over the 1.5km (Years 3 and 4) and 2km (Years 5 and 6) courses.
I am pleased to say that Isa (Year 3) finished second overall in the Yr 3 Girls race.
Our combined scores in the Girls events led to the Year 3 and Year 5 Girls each gaining bronze medals, a fantastic achievement.
Well done to all involved and a huge congratulations the Year 3 Girls team, Tara, Riley, Sophie, Isa and Delphine, plus the Year 5 Girls team of Talya, Astrid, Sophie, Anna and Innes.
