This past weekend both DCIS Under 10’s teams reached the final of the ACSIS Under 10’s Football Tournament, Division 3 held on Saturday at UWC Dover Campus. Both teams overcame obstacles and nerves on the day to take home the Champions Trophy and 1st Runner’s Up.

The winning team had a decisive attacking spark, and while facing a tense penalty shoot out against UWC Dover during the quarter finals, they had the courage and determination to move forward and win the competition. They beat every team they played including Dulwich, Singapore American, UWC Dover and Tampines. The DCIS 1st Runner’s Up team also did a great job losing only one match, bringing energy to each game despite the heat!

Having each child collect their medal was an unbelievable feeling for the staff and parents. And, the children are proud to be bringing the trophy back to the school. Congratulations Team Dover Court!
