This week's assembly was based on the British tradition of ‘Bonfire Night’ which takes place every year on 5th November.

The students travelled back in time and shared the story of ‘Guy Fawkes and the Gun Powder Plot’ before travelling back to the Year 2017 where they shared some work that they had been completing over the course of last week. Activities included some beautiful Bonfire Night artwork, Bonfire Night food tasting and some exciting tower building.

The assembly finished with the whole of Lower Primary singing the popular song ‘Fireworks’ by Katy Perry!
