A testimonial from two DCIS students
Dear DCIS Families,
On this fifth and final day of our Food Drive, lots of younger kids donated rice, canned goods and pasta, and we barely had enough stickers to hand out.
There were about eight volunteers working today, gathering all the food and packing it into boxes. It was really fun watching the younger kids show up with these huge bags of food and goods. And of course they all wanted stickers!
After we gathered all the food, we packed it all into the boxes, and with the help of the trolleys we rolled the boxes into the store room.
Unfortunately we won’t be there for the pick up because we have Maths that period, but we have all put a lot of hard work for all five days of this food drive. We are happy to know that the food is going to charity called the Food Bank SG for families who really need these goods.
Most importantly it's been good to know we are making our contribution to the UNICEF's Global Goal towards Zero Hunger.
