Parent Workshop: Secondary Homework

21 August 2018

In Secondary School at DCIS, we have a variety of approaches to homework based on the appropriateness for the key stage and programme of study.

  • Secondary Homework Parent Workshop

During this year's first parent workshop Deputy Head of Secondary, Mrs. Hyland outlined the key approaches we take and what parents can do to support their secondary children with homework. Mrs. Hyland explained how both the Tic Tac Toe homework and regular homework work and what we expect from the students. The Tic Tac Toe booklets, with instructions, will be uploaded to the Parent Portal in the coming weeks to ensure parents are aware of homework tasks and deadlines. Please do contact our subject teachers if you are unsure about how best to support your child in their choice of task or how to complete it.
