Applications are currently open to join the Dover Court International School Secondary Student Council.
The Head Students Ishita and Maylis, along with the committee heads will be running this as a student-led initiative. All week they have been promoting this to during the Year group assemblies.
The aim of the Student Council is to support the holistic development of the intellectual, emotional, social, physical and creative wellbeing of all DCIS students. The Student Council will serve the student body, voice student opinions to the Senior Leadership Team and promote positive initiatives throughout DCIS and the wider community. The Student Council helps develop leadership, creativity, confidence and resilience.
Being part of the Student Council is a privilege and teaches important lessons regarding power, freedom and responsibility. All students can apply for the student council and indicate the areas they would be interested in being a part of. Form tutors have given a link to the application form on their forms Google Classroom. Applications will be reviewed by the executive committee who will decide on the placements. The deadline for applications is 18/09/2019.
