The Chinese Brush Painting workshop was met with great enthusism and the students enjoyed learning about the various techniques specifically used in Chinese brush painting. They also looked at the art equipment used and how the special brushes are made. After an interesting presentation of different types of Chinese Art, the students had the opportuntity to test the different techniques in a hands-on art session. They painted some beautiful pictures of goldfish, an important symbol of prosperity and wealth in Chinese culture.
We look forward to explore more activities in the future as these are a fabulous way for our students to engage in the culture of the language they are studying.
