Dear DCIS Parents and Guardians,

It was fantastic to welcome everyone back to school today after the half term break. We do hope that you all enjoyed spending time with your families over Chinese New Year and we wish everyone a prosperous and successful Year of the Dog.

Each year we gather the views of our community through our Parent Survey. The results of the survey help guide us when planning for the future and so we would like to hear from all of our current families. The survey is live from today until 18th March, it is available in several different languages and should only take 15 minutes to complete. A link to the survey has been sent out directly via email today.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Our Under 13 FOBISIA team will be departing for Thailand on Wednesday, we wish them all the very best of luck and hope that the experience is both fruitful and enriching.

Mr. Christopher Short
Principal

Lunch Service: Sodexo

As previously communicated the main cafeteria is not accepting cash payments, but the DCIS Café will continue to accept cash. Although, the cash facility in the DCIS Café is really designed to accommodate parents for occasional use, we recommend that all students are signed up for a Campus Online account. This limits cash on site and allows parents to track purchases that students make during the day through their Campus Online accounts. You can access the Campus Online page at this link.

Parent Support Network

We are pleased to launch the first Parent Support Network meeting. This is a chance to meet up with other parents informally over a coffee and share experiences and support amongst friends.  We're facilitating the first of these meetings, providing a space for parents to meet and will be inviting along a child psychologist to offer advice about any issues that may be concerning parents with their own children, outside of school.  The network is independent of the school and open up to all parents of children with additional needs. The first network meeting will be held on Monday 26th February at 8:45am in the DCIS cafe.  We hope you can come along.
