After graduating as a teacher, Ailsa enjoyed teaching across all age ranges in Primary. Before having her first daughter, she held a position on the Senior Leadership Team, co-coordinating KS1 and the Early Years Department. After returning from maternity leave, Ailsa decided to pursue a role within SEN, which had always been a passion of hers. She enjoyed developing her knowledge and skills set, particularly in teaching children on the autistic spectrum. Ailsa was working at Charter Rose ASD Centre in Wiltshire up until her move to Singapore.
Ailsa strongly believes in the importance of enquiry based learning in fostering children’s natural curiosity about the world. She is passionate about creating an engaging, safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and thrive in.
Ailsa enjoys spending time with her family and exploring all the wonderful places this part of the world has to offer. She loves being outside on her bike and in the ocean on her paddleboard. Ailsa loves playing the piano and has recently taught herself guitar, which she enjoys sharing in class. She also enjoys playing netball and is looking forward to joining a team here in Singapore!
