Adam Goold

Secondary School Head of Science

Adam read Medical Sciences at the University of Birmingham Medical School, England, before completing a post-graduate certificate in Education, specialising in Chemistry in 2008.

Adam joined Dover Court from Brighton and Hove High School GDST, England, where he held the positions of Head of Biology and Head of House. Adam previously taught at Bellerbys International College, Brighton, for four years, where he took on many different roles; these included Senior UCAS Medics Tutor and Enrichment Coordinator for Science and Engineering. Adam loves nothing more than organising an enriching school trip and has previously led school educational tours to Iceland, Malawi and this year to Ecuador (Amazon) and the Galapagos Islands. He is a keen advocate of education outside of the classroom setting and ensuring learning is a memorable experience!

Apart from science teaching, Adam’s great passion is coaching rugby to young people and adults alike. He currently coaches the school staff touch rugby team, which is an extremely popular amongst the teachers. Outside of school, Adam enjoys wakeboarding and surfing around South East Asia.
