Staff Profile: Aidan Jones

Aidan Jones

Secondary School History Teacher

Aidan gained his teaching qualification in History at the Aberystwyth University, Wales. He also holds a BA and a Post Graduate diploma in History.

Previous to Dover Court, Aidan taught at the British school of Beijing for four years where he taught IB History, TOK and helped oversee the Extended Essay. Aidan also led a successful Model United Nations team and organised the First MUN conference at the British School of Beijing. Prior to Beijing, Aidan taught at International Schools in China and the Maldives.

As a classroom teacher, he is passionate about everything to do with the study of History. Aidan aims to create a classroom environment where students are encouraged to develop their independent learning style to ensure they are on their personal learning journey to success.

Outside school, Aidan enjoys reading particularly whilst under a tree with a mountain view.
