Staff Profile: Rebecca Whittington

Rebecca Whittington

Music Teacher

Rebecca Whittington earned her Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and her Masters of Music in music education from Boston University.

Rebecca has experience teaching both in the United States and in Singapore. She plays the flute, piano, and sings opera and has performed around the US and Europe. She always looks forward to singing, dancing, and making music with her students.

Rebecca hopes to expand the musical lives of her students by developing their individual musical skills, broadening their musical perspectives and exposure, and finding new and exciting ways to make music together.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys trying new foods, cooking up dinner for a nice crowd, knitting sweaters for friends living back in cold weather climates, and traveling when possible
