Dear DCIS Parents and Guardians,

It was wonderful to welcome back our eager and enthusiastic children this morning. Talking to students as they arrived this morning they seem to have had some great adventures over the last two weeks but were delighted to be back at school for another busy term. I’d also like to welcome our new students to the DCIS community.

One special new member of the Dover Court family was Jack Rinaldi who arrived in the middle of the holiday. I know you will join me to sending best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Rinaldi on the birth of their beautiful boy.

As well as welcoming new families to school on Friday we had a visit from Mr. Craig Bull, our new Head of Secondary. He gave a presentation to parents where Ms Hyland, myself and Mr. Bull outlined our plans for the continued development of the Secondary school over the coming years. If you were unable to attend the event, a copy of his presentation will be circulated in the coming week and we will run the event again at the start of the academic year.

I wish you all the best for the coming term.

Mr. Christopher Short
Principal

  • Students outside of our school can complete the survey via the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Q92R6ZS

  • This is a great opportunity to understand what students think about the Global Goals and to learn more about what they are doing to support them.
