Students in Year 9 who were runners up in the Dragons’ Den Challenge Day were invited to the Sofitel Metropole hotel to meet a very special guest. Gary Rhodes was there hosting a Great British Bake Off. The contestants were local food blogger Esheep and Chef Silen from O’Douceurs who were competing to make the best British cream tea. A traditional cream tea usually consists of scones, jam and cream served with English Breakfast tea but the contestants were keen to put their own twist on the recipe. Our students got to work with British Ambassador Giles Lever and Esheep to create a cream tea with a Vietnamese twist. It was the winning recipe on the day!
