We Love Books!

10 October 2014

Dressed as our favourite fictional characters, children and staff began this wonderful celebration of children’s literature with a colourful Book Parade.

Back in the classrooms, our visiting author Adam Bushnell taught us how to draw our ideas and ‘speak our stories’ before committing them to paper, sparking an explosion of creative ideas about mystical creatures and weird settings.

The library hosted a number of exciting events, including a ‘tasting’ in our Book Café and a tricky challenge for MP3 – they had to guess how many books are in our library! The Fahasa Book Fair gave lots of children the opportunity to take home with them even more terrific tales. Happy reading everyone!
