A Holly, Jolly Christmas - AN Phu Primary Carol Concert

After a very busy few weeks of Christmas productions, whole school music concerts and extra curricular activities, our musical focus turned to carols, sleigh bells and mince pies. Over 450 parents came together on Tuesday evening to celebrate the festive period and were superbly entertained by choirs, orchestras and musical ensembles. Look through the many photographs of the concert by accessing  the post from Mrs Beth Bown, Primary Music Leader.

Year 4 Fashion Show Extravaganza

Never mind Milan, Paris, London or even New York - the eyes from world fashion were definitely on the AP1 catwalk this week. The Year 4 collection, inspired by the learning that has taken place in the IPC topic 'Fashion', consisted of sporty, glam, formal, adventure and traditional looks. Read more about this event and see some of the great costumes designed by our very own Year 4s in the post by Jude Handscombe, Year 4 teacher and Milepost 2 Leader

Student Council Cross Campus Meeting at BVIS

As part of our commitment to developing leadership skills across our school and also to ensuring that the student voice is both strong and respected, the Student Councils from An Phu Primary, Tu Xuong Primary and BVIS Binh Chanh Primary came together last week and shared their ideas on how to further develop our provision for learning.

Thank you to the input of all of our Student Council this term and in particular to the Executive Committee consisting of Do Joon, Rosie and Hyun S00. Every week, the Executive Committee meets with me to discuss  how we can work in partnership to make AP1 the best it can be for everyone. This meeting is always one of the highlights of my week!
