Using technology to present learning and understanding

25 January 2018

In Year 6, we are always looking for innovative ways in which pupils can demonstrate their learning, using traditional as well as more modern media. See the link below for some examples in which we use video and laptop apps to do just that!

Some of the clips are from a recent Class Assembly on bullying, where pupils used video and editing effects to convey the emotional consequences of this behaviour. The other clip is a recent English homework, in which the present tense had to be used to form an audio description for a film trailer. Screencastify, an app in the Google store, was used to help record the piece. We are also pushing forward this year in using Google Classroom as a platform for delivering, presenting and sharing our learning. Ask your child to show you more.
