U19 Girls Basketball vs ABCIS - BIS HCMC

U19 Girls Basketball vs ABCIS - Match Report (29/11/2018)

Saebom Park provides the highlights from the U19 girls basketball match against ABCIS.

ABCIS was our second game of this season. Previously, ABCIS were a team that we've been able to win against easily - but we didn’t go into the game with the ‘easy-game’ mindset. We started off by playing our set plays and within the first couple of minutes we were able to lead comfortably by many points. We also attempted our new in-bound plays like ‘T-zipper’, which at first was a little messy due to some misunderstandings but we were still able to score some baskets from this play. With practice, we will hopefully be able to use this to our advantage frequently.

After the first half, it was evident that the game had already been won, but we still continued to play our best with several interceptions, quick passes and many baskets here and there; seen in the scoreline of 38-7. This game didn’t only demonstrate that our half-court arrow, offensive plays and chemistry as a team are becoming more and more effective, but it also provided us with high motivation for the next game next Thursday. Next week we will aim to rebound all of our shots so none go to waste. A special mention to Mr. Mc’s player of the match: Krystyna Phamova!

Final Score: 38-7
