International Week is almost here!

International Week

International Week is just around the corner. Starting this Monday 21st January to Friday 25th January 2019. A great event which unites our BIS friends from all over the world.

The Country Representative liaises with other country group members to share culinary delights from your child’s home country through the Global Café, on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd of January (open to parents).  There will not only be food shared, but also an opportunity to dress the area where your food is served with a visual representation of your child’s fabulous home country.

This is a rewarding role within the PTG and we thank you for taking the time to consider your involvement towards the country groups.

Book Swap Day

Thursday 7th March is World Book Day and the school would love to run a book swap event. This event involves organising and running a book swap stall before and after school both at EY&IC and Juniors. To do this we need book donations from you! We hope to run the event on the world book day and any surplus books would then be distributed to appropriate community partners by the Community Service team.

We would be looking for parents to help organise the books prior to the swap into appropriate age bands/year groups but also help support on the day at both stalls.

If you can help please do email the PTG or sign up via the link below.

We look forward to hearing from you!
