¡Hola! Bonjour! Ni Hao! So many things have happened in the MFL lessons since the beginning of the year!

So many things have happened in the MFL lessons since the beginning of the year!

In French, the little ones loved singing and dancing to the French song Bonjour. Such enthusiasm is a pleasure to see! Further up in Year 5 and Year 6, students worked very hard to prepare for their end of unit assessment, with a little bit of fun in between such as “What’s the time Mr Wolf” in French. There surely were a few hungry wolves!

In Chinese, back in February, Year 6 students celebrated Chinese New Year by making dumplings! From what I have heard, they tasted delicious! Other year groups made Lucky Money envelopes and other various crafts.

Earlier this term, Year 6 Spanish classes had the pleasure to see Secondary students come to take part in a cultural activity. It was a great opportunity for our students across campus to engage in conversations, sharing their experiences, asking each other questions and getting to know each other. Also, Year 3 made their own storybook based on the Spanish version of “Brown Bear”!

But this is not all fun and games in MFL! Our students across the school work very hard throughout the year and the progress is evident when looking at our Year 6 children. They have come such a long way and we are very proud of their journey.

We all look forward to seeing you after the holidays for a fun-filled and exciting rest of the year in MFL!
