Veggie Tales As part of this term’s Global Campus, students are being asked to tell the secret stories of the vegetables that live in our kitchens.

As part of this term’s Global Campus, students are being asked to tell the secret stories of the vegetables that live in our kitchens. What do carrots think about? Which of the vegetables is up for heading out on an adventure and what conversations do the broccoli and the bean sprouts have when no one is around?

Students have been asked to create a picture storyboard that tells the tale of at least one vegetable. They will use their creativity and imaginations to stage the photos, think of the lines that the characters will say or think, and then put it all together into a story.

This activity is designed to fire the imagination and it is a perfect project for parents and students to work on together, with the added bonus that you get to show off your work to all of the schools in our global family.

If you want to get involved then go to the performing arts area of Global Campus and look at the ‘backstage’ pages. Our Director of Performing Arts, Ms Cat Molloy, has also created some support materials to help you, just follow the links below:

Don’t forget to share your storyboard on the wall when it’s done. Please see Ms Sarah’s guidance to how children and parents and children (at the Early Years and Infant Campus) can access the Global Campus.
