Staff Profile: Hayley Dudley

Hayley Dodds_396

F1 Teacher / F1 Year Leader

I grew up with 5 younger siblings which means I have always been surrounded by children.  It is this upbringing that lead me to develop an interest in how children learn and develop, resulting in a decision to take up a career in teaching.  I thoroughly enjoys teaching the enthusiastic, caring and inquisitive children at BIS.

BA (Hons) Primary Education (Early Years), Winchester University, UK

Hayley joined BIS in August 2015. Before moving to Vietnam she taught for six years in the south of England, spending four years teaching Year 1 and then two years in F3. During her time at this school Hayley lead outdoor education and various whole school initiatives, such as, developing an outdoor learning classroom and implementing a creative skills based curriculum. Hayley has a passion for child centred learning and is excited to be leading EYFS and working with the youngest children at our school.

Hayley enjoys crafts, travel and trying something new. Whilst living in Vietnam she hopes to explore more of South East Asia and learn lots about different cultures.
