Practical Place Value

In Year 4 this week we have been solving problems, using collaborative reasoning skills to round off our focus on 'Place Value'. We found that we weren't negative about negative numbers and are purely positive we can solve any place value based problem.

Practical Place Value

On Thursday in Year 4 Braille our finale involved 'A who wants to be a hundredaire challenge' a tricky positional problem and a decision making game of higher or lower based on chance, when turning a pack of cards.

In fact the biggest problem we actually faced was deciding which of the challenges we liked the most and decided that we would take these home and share them with our parents, as a challenge. After all we are all lifelong learners aren't we? Let us know how you get on and please share some pictures of your home learning.
