Warm bellies and a hearty Soup

Once again in collaboration with the Warsaw Volunteer Mission (WVM) a group of our students came together last Saturday to prepare 60 sandwiches and a lot of healthy and hearty soup.

This has been our 4th action Saturday we have attended with the  Warsaw Volunteer Mission. Word of mouth is now spreading as the begining of cold weather sets in. We saw over 52 people in need, and our students help deliver soup and clothes to all those in need.

Our students displayed a real strong sense of community, collaboration and respect during the day.

At the Christmas Fair this year on Friday 14 December, our students will be running a stall selling many delicious foods, the funds raised will be  used to continue this monthly mission and action. We encourage all of the TBS community  to come and visit our stall and buy some produce, your support will be greatly received.

TBS Primary students will also be working with Mr Parkinson this year, to provide some of these families with Christmas Hampers, and these will be delivered at the action planned for Saturday 15 December. We thank Mr Parkinson for helping lead this action.
