Respect in Action

A new year, a new you!  And Starting as we mean to go on... these were very much the messages across the Secondary school this week.

Secondary Students on sports field

Not only in the first assemblies, but also throughout the corridors, outside at break times and inside the classrooms.  I delivered the first assemblies to students this week and I focused on a supremely important theme – RESPECT.  This ties in very nicely with our school’s values and is, infact, the No 1 value at The British School, Warsaw. In the assembly I asked the students to think hard about how they conduct themselves and I was delighted this week to hear comments from other staff members who have noticed a dramatic improvement in the politeness and courtesy shown by Secondary students around school – excellent work everybody, keep it up!

You can read more about our assembly in the presentation below.

Thank you to all those parents who found time to come to our Back to School Parent Information Evenings, it was wonderful to see so many there and know that you are so enthusiastic in supporting us to support your child. We thank you for your valuable feedback and hope that you took away a lot of useful information. The PowerPoint slides are posted on the Firefly parent dashboard.

Wishing you a relaxing weekend!
